ELDER LAW

As our population ages, we see an increased likelihood that one or more senior family members will need to receive increasing levels of care as they age. In home assistance, assisted living arrangements, nursing home care, and hospice care are among the many options to help meet the needs of aging persons. Families need to plan for such arrangements, and to adjust existing arrangements as needs, and resources change.

Elder care options are expensive. Oftentimes the demands for caring for elderly relatives falls upon family members, who themselves may be rearing children of their own at the same time.   Tthere is financial assistance available known as Medicaid which is designed to pay the cost of certain types of medical assistance to low-income individuals who demonstrate the appropriate financial need.  This program, , is governed by a set of complex rules regarding qualification for benefits.

You may contact us for more information on various elder care options available, to consult about living arrangements and financial planning you are considering for yourself or aging relatives. Please feel free to begin the process by completing our Initial Client Questionnaire and returning it to our office at your convenience.
